Cooper Alloy Casting Roll Shell
In order to improve the casting speed and production of Aluminium Caster, improve the quality of the products, reduce the production cost, expand the types of cast alloy and the specifications of the products, Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone Zhongtian Electromechanical Equipment Co., Ltd. provided shell usage requirements and specifications, and a new type of special copper alloy roll shell is developed successfully by Yantai Wanlong (Commercial Grand: ZTGT -2200, Material Brand: CuNiBe):
The ZTGT -2200 copper roll shell is treated by special technical process, which overcomes the limitation of copper material, improves the hardness and performance, guarantees the high thermal conductivity of the copper roll shell, strengthens the creep resistance performance and improves the fatigue resistance of periodic thermal altemating.
The thermal conductivity of the ZTGT -2200 copper roll shell is 240W/M.K. The thermal conductivity of the widely used steel roll shell is 25WW/M.K. The thermnal conductivity of the steel roll shell is only about 1 /10 of the WL copper roll shell. The excellent thermal conductivity of the ZTGT -2200 copper roll shell provides a strong guarantee for improving the casting speed of the Caster. There are two combinations of ZTGT-2200 copper roll shell, copper steel pair combination and copper copper pair combination. Comparison between the above two combinations and the casting speed and production capacity of the steel roll shell as follows:
It can be seen that the production capacity of the copper steel combination roll shell is about 50% higher than that of the steel steel composite roll shell, and the production capacity of the copper copper combination method is about 120% higher than that of the steel steel combination.
The super heat transfer ability of the ZTGT-2200 copper roll shell enables the molten aluminum to solidify in a faster time, so the microstructure is more compact, finer and even.
